BLUE SERIES
"The blue series" blue ultramarine and cobalt blue two colors that form the basis for a series of paintings the blue color in the background against reduced shapes forms.

Oil wax on paper 2015-2023 the painting is mounted on a 40 x 40 cm acid-free cardboard. I have an organic minimalist approach. In my painting
I use a thin fragile paper that I paint in layers upon layers in earthy tones.
ABOUT ME
Jan-Thomas Ölund I am a Swedish artist who is inspired by the minimalist and the japanese Wabi-sabi. I work with various materials to create my art. I strive to create works that evoke emotion and invite viewers to contemplate their deeper meanings. I take great pride in my work and enjoy experimenting with different techniques and materials to create unique pieces. My artwork typically has a subtle, tranquil aesthetic, but I also enjoy exploring more expressive themes. I hope to continue to hone my craft and create meaningful works that connect with viewers.
